More than 20 people have died as a result of a new wave of monsoon rains in Pakistan, the country’s national disaster management agency announced today. Ten people were killed in Karachi, the financial capital in the south of the country, due to floods that caused the collapse of homes and electrocutions. Another 11 people died in the northern region of Gilgit-Baltistan.
