The Australian government announced today the delivery of M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine under a 245 million Australian dollar (approximately 137.5 million euros) military assistance package, reinforcing Kyiv’s efforts in the war against Russia, international media report.
Defense Minister Richard Marles confirmed Ukraine has received the majority of the pledged 49 tanks, with the remainder scheduled for delivery in the coming months.
