Worker Electrocuted During Rodent Control Operation in Northern Italy

A 54-year-old worker was electrocuted after entering an electrical cabin to perform a rodent extermination procedure. The industrial accident occurred in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano, on Viale Piave, just before noon. A colleague who was working with him immediately alerted emergency services (112). Carabinieri police, technicians from the ATS health agency, and medical rescuers with an air ambulance arrived on the scene within minutes. The victim was transported to a hospital by helicopter.
