Italy Expands Special Economic Zone to Include Marche and Umbria

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced via social media platform X that a new decree extends Italy’s Unified Special Economic Zone (SEZ) to encompass the Marche and Umbria regions. Tajani stated, “With this decree, we extend the Unified Special Economic Zone to Marche and Umbria. It is a measure, strongly advocated by Forza Italia, which we dedicate to the territory, businesses, and workers.” He confirmed the measure enables the SEZ expansion specifically to these two central Italian regions.
