Italian authorities have confiscated alcohol bottles from a Bagheria villa where a party was underway at the time of 20-year-old volleyball player Simona Cinà’s death. The seizure was confirmed in an official statement from the Termini Imerese prosecutor’s office, which outlined progress in the investigation into the young athlete’s demise. Prosecutors noted that all youths questioned as witnesses “displayed cooperative behavior” during interviews. The office further verified that Carabinieri officers seized Cinà’s clothing as part of the ongoing probe.
