At the opening of trading, the yield spread between Italian BTPs and German Bunds widened to 82.1 basis points, with Italy’s 10-year benchmark yield rising to 3.54%. The differential increased from yesterday’s closing level of 81 basis points. The BTP yield also climbed compared to the previous day’s 3.50%.
