Fire Erupts in Rome’s Monte Mario Natural Park

A wildfire ignited within Rome’s Monte Mario Natural Park, impacting a small wooded area adjacent to Via Trionfale, approximately 100 meters from Villa Miani. Firefighters swiftly contained the blaze with assistance from a civil protection helicopter. No injuries were reported. Carabinieri officers from the Rome Medaglie d’Oro station attended the scene. Preliminary investigations found no evidence of unauthorized settlements in the affected zone.
