A 25-year-old man and his 67-year-old father, both residents of San Martino in Passiria, were found dead in Alto Adige after plunging from an exposed section of a hiking trail near Moso in Passiria. The incident occurred below the Pixner bivouac in the Plan area. Family members alerted authorities late Monday evening when the pair failed to return from their excursion. Rescue operations involved the Val Passiria Alpine Rescue team, the Finance Police’s Alpine Rescue Unit (SAGF), and the Finance Police Air Section.
