The southbound carriageway of the Autosole highway from Orte toward Rome has reopened to traffic, according to highway police in Orvieto and Terni who informed ANSA. While traffic flow has resumed, severe congestion persists with vehicles moving at reduced speeds. Queues are currently shortening as conditions gradually improve.
