A 62-year-old worker is hospitalized in critical condition after falling four meters at an industrial site in Andria. The accident occurred this morning inside a warehouse in the city’s industrial zone.
Preliminary reports indicate the victim, employed by an asbestos removal company, was positioning metal roofing sheets when he fell for reasons still under investigation. The impact was severe. Emergency services responded immediately, transporting the man to hospital where he remains in serious condition with a reserved prognosis.
Carabinieri and personnel from the ASL BAT Occupational Health and Safety Prevention Service (SPESAL) attended the scene to investigate the incident.
