At least 20 people were killed and 43 others wounded during Russian attacks overnight on the southeastern Ukrainian regions of Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk, authorities reported. In Zaporizhzhia, shelling of a penal institution resulted in 16 deaths and 35 injuries, according to Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Andriy Yermak via Telegram. Yermak denounced the strike as “another war crime committed by the Russians.” Separately, three attacks in Dnipropetrovsk region killed at least four people and injured eight others, stated Sergiy Lysak, head of the regional military administration, in a Telegram update.
