Milan’s prosecutor has received dozens of citizen complaints regarding construction sites and buildings since July 16, when six arrest warrants in a major urban planning probe were announced and reported by media. Many complainants, some assisted by lawyers, urged investigators to examine projects not yet scrutinized in the ongoing corruption investigation. Meanwhile, financial police investigators continue gathering documentation from municipal offices this week concerning other real estate operations under review. Among the broader focuses of the probe is the San Siro stadium redevelopment project.
