A physician already suspended from medical practice has been confined to house arrest after being discovered performing illegal surgeries in a Rome residence. Carlo Bravi faces investigation for the March death of Simonetta Kalfus, 62, who underwent fatal liposuction. Following the procedure, Kalfus was admitted in critical condition to Ostia’s Grassi Hospital, where she later died. The NAS (Carabinieri Anti-Adulteration Unit) of Rome executed the arrest order.
