A 21-year-old from Cazzago San Martino faces charges of propaganda and incitement to commit crimes motivated by racial, ethnic, and religious discrimination, according to the Brescia Prosecutor’s Office. The suspect, a factory worker with no criminal record or known political affiliations, has been placed under pre-trial detention and ordered to report regularly to judicial police.
He is among 27 individuals nationwide investigated by prosecutor Caty Bressanelli for alleged ties to far-right social media groups promoting neo-Nazi, supremacist, xenophobic, and anti-Semitic ideologies. The Carabinieri ROS unit in Brescia launched the probe in December 2023 after monitoring the suspect’s activities on Telegram and TikTok.
Investigators uncovered networks disseminating content centered on racial superiority, Holocaust denial, incitement to violence against minorities, and fascist apologia. Key groups identified include:
– “White Lives Matter Italia,” described by authorities as promoting “human classification by race and white supremacist ideology denigrating other ethnicities.”
– “Vannawaffen tm,” accused of glorifying Nazism, “accelerationism,” anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-immigrant violence, and racial hierarchy.
– “Sangue e Suolo” (Blood and Soil), which investigators say featured “neo-Nazi, Holocaust-denying, anti-Semitic, and fascist-glorifying content.”
Most suspects are aged 18–25, with some being minors when the investigation began. The group members allegedly frequented social channels idolizing fascism.
