The iconic seaside swing, a symbol of summer in Rimini, has returned to the shoreline at Bagno 24 beach for the 2025 bathing season, marking ten years since its revival on the riviera. This celebrated attraction of the Romagna Riviera is once again available for tourists and residents. The initiative comes from the association Rimini Sparita, dedicated to recovering and promoting the city’s historical heritage, which conceived the idea to restore this symbol in 2016. Collaboration with Bagno 24 ensures the swing remains freely accessible this year. Sea swings were characteristic of the 1960s, becoming summer meeting points on the sand for children, families, and couples. Youngsters never missed their “turn,” often forming long queues in the water while competing to swing the highest or fastest.
