Thailand Accuses Cambodia of Ceasefire Breach After Night Attack

Thailand has accused Cambodia of a “blatant violation” of a truce agreement intended to halt cross-border fighting. According to Bangkok authorities, Cambodian troops launched a night-time attack using light weapons and grenades. “This constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement,” stated the Thai Foreign Ministry in a release. The ministry further declared, “This act of aggression once again represents a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement by Cambodian forces and demonstrates their apparent lack of good faith.” (ANSA-AFP)
