Firefighters from the Cannigione aquatic unit in Arzachena responded to an emergency off Piccolo Pevero in Costa Smeralda where an 8-meter vessel had run aground. The boat sustained significant damage to its rudder and was taking on water. After administering first aid to all four occupants, the crew secured the craft before it was towed to Porto Cervo harbor. A Coast Guard patrol boat also arrived at the scene to assist in the operation.
