The NGO vessel Solidaire docked at Berth 56 in Livorno port around 8:15 a.m. today, carrying 59 migrants. The group comprises 49 men—including 43 adults, one accompanied minor, and five unaccompanied minors—alongside 10 women, consisting of seven adults and three accompanied minors. They originate from Sudan, Ghana, Mali, Gambia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Côte d’Ivoire, and Biafra.
A coordinated reception protocol, managed by the Livorno Prefecture and involving civil protection units, medical personnel, and border police, was activated at the dock. The prefecture confirmed all migrants will be transferred to reception facilities across Tuscany under the region’s standard allocation framework.
