Railway services between Como San Giovanni and Chiasso stations were suspended this morning. The disruption was prompted by ground subsidence along a road overhanging the rail tunnel connecting the city of Como to the Swiss border. Firefighters from the provincial command and technical staff from the Como municipal administration are currently conducting on-site inspections.
