A Russian aerial attack on the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk killed a 10-year-old boy and injured five others early Thursday, according to Oleksandr Honcharenko, head of the city’s military administration. Russian forces deployed a guided bomb that struck a residential building, igniting a fire, Honcharenko told RBC-Ukraine. “At 7:30 a.m. local time (6:30 a.m. Italian time), one fatality was confirmed—a child born in 2015. Five additional victims sustained injuries and are receiving specialized medical treatment,” he stated. The strike occurred in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, which remains a focal point of hostilities.
