Coinciding with the first day of school, the presentation for the next edition of X Factor was held in the gymnasium of the Boccioni high school in Milan, packed with students and journalists. Before them stood the four judges—Achille Lauro, newcomer Francesco Gabbani, Jake La Furia, and Paola Iezzi—alongside Giorgia, who has been confirmed as the host of the talent show.
“Last year was a bit of a leap into the unknown because it was something I had never done before,” said the singer. “I am someone who lives everything with a lot of fear and a sense of responsibility, but now I believe I have understood that, fundamentally, my job is to guide and support the contestants and try not to make mistakes when I have to speak. I will give it my all.”
The musical adventure of X Factor, a Sky Original show produced by Fremantle, restarts next Thursday on Sky and for streaming on Now. Following tradition, the season will begin with the casting phase and auditions of aspiring contestants. This is the first step of a long journey that will conclude this year, confirmed Giuseppe De Bellis, Executive Vice President of Sport, News, and Entertainment at Sky, with a grand live finale show in Naples’s Plebiscite Square.
Meanwhile, X Factor – The Party, the official event inaugurating the new season of the show, is sold out. It will be held tonight starting at 6:30 PM at Ex Macello on Viale Molise in Milan. The cast of XF2025 will take the stage, joined by performers from recent editions, including the 2024 winner Mimì Caruso, the band Les Votives, and 2023 standout Maria Tomba.
