Two workers were struck by a sudden flash fire while removing a decommissioned fuel system at the Carabinieri barracks in Acireale. The cause of the blaze is under investigation. The victims, aged 57 and 60, were urgently transported to Cannizzaro Hospital in Catania, where they are hospitalized in reserved condition.
