A weather alert remains in effect for Milan starting from 6 PM today until midnight due to the risk of flooding, runoff, and severe thunderstorms. Authorities are closely monitoring the Lambro and Seveso rivers, which are at risk of overflowing following heavy rainfall. Residents are advised to exercise caution in areas near these waterways.
Citizens are also urged to avoid green spaces, parks, and wooded areas, as well as construction scaffolding, outdoor dining structures, and tents. Items on balconies should be secured to prevent hazardous conditions.
The Municipal Operations Center (COC) of Milan’s Civil Protection has been activated to monitor the situation and coordinate any necessary emergency response efforts across the city.
