European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated that a meeting in Paris was “crucial, as we all know the future and security of the entire continent are at stake.” Following the meeting, she announced that leaders have formally approved the work undertaken by their Chiefs of Defence and Defence Ministers. “We will be relentless in our efforts to keep Ukraine strong, keep Europe safe, and achieve peace,” von der Leyen declared.
