The United Kingdom has underscored the collective commitment of its partners in the so-called coalition of the willing to supply long-range missiles to Ukraine. This announcement was among the key conclusions of today’s summit in Paris, which was co-chaired remotely by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and France’s Emmanuel Macron. Downing Street further highlighted that in his address, Starmer called for “an intensification of pressure” on Vladimir Putin to push Russia toward peace. Regarding the UK’s military contribution to post-war security guarantees for Kyiv, London has long stated its readiness to deploy a ground contingent alongside other nations, contingent on the presence of a US security umbrella.
