A public bus ticket inspector was assaulted this afternoon in Sant’Angelo Lodigiano when a 17-year-old passenger, unable to produce a valid ticket, punched him in the face during a routine check. Emergency medical services responded immediately, transporting the injured inspector to Maggiore Hospital in Lodi where he remains under observation. Local police apprehended the teenager—an Italian citizen of African descent—at the scene and filed charges against him.
