A group of students, who had been marching in a pro-Gaza demonstration, entered the university campus and have now taken position inside the Faculty of Letters. Approximately one hundred protesters are gathered in the faculty’s atrium, declaring their intention to occupy the space ahead of tomorrow’s academic Senate meeting. “We plan to occupy and remain here to demand Zionism be expelled from the University,” the students stated. Despite the protest, academic activities such as thesis defenses are continuing uninterrupted in some classrooms within the facility.
