The seventh edition of Fashion & Talents, an event organized by eCampus University and Accademia del Lusso under the patronage of Rome’s Council for Major Events, Sport, Tourism, and Fashion, took place in Rome’s Piazza di Spagna. This year’s evening runway show, hosted by Rai1 presenter Eleonora Danieli, featured student creations developed through collaborations with iconic Italian brands Giuliano Fujiwara, No Limits, and Romeo Gigli.
The collections were part of Accademia del Lusso’s Brand Project, an initiative that provides students access to archival materials to reinterpret the heritage of major Italian labels. Through this educational program, students developed garments blending past and present influences, engaging in practical phases including design, pattern-making, brand analysis, and the development of marketing and communication strategies with a focus on sustainability. The runway paid homage to Giuliano Fujiwara’s urban style, celebrated freedom and self-expression through the collaboration with No Limits, and reimagined Romeo Gigli’s elegance with interpretations of the “Maledicta – The Fallen Angel” collection.
The event also featured creations by young designers from Harper College (Illinois, USA) and a representation from the Linping District Fashion Designers Association of Hangzhou, a non-profit organization founded by local designers, industry entrepreneurs, and brand consultants dedicated to promoting fashion industry growth and design talent.
During the evening, Accademia del Lusso awarded three scholarships to local fashion-focused high schools: IIS Giorgi-Virginia Woolf, Istituto Paritario Aniene, and Liceo Artistico Statale Enzo Rossi. The event also featured the presentation of “Modelli si Nasce” (Models Are Born), an association founded by parents of autistic youth to provide professional opportunities in the fashion industry. Two autistic models walked the runway alongside other participants.
