The Roman Chamber Music Society has announced the opening of its 2025 Concert Season, which will commence on September 28th at 7:00 PM. The inaugural event will be held at the Sala dei Lecci in Rome’s Bioparco (1 Viale del Giardino Zoologico), in collaboration with the Fondazione Bioparco di Roma, Luogo Arte Accademia Musicale, and Cmr Project.
The extensive program will feature 17 concerts and performances, spanning classical music, jazz, and contemporary works. The season will showcase renowned artists from both the national and international music scene.
Artistic Director, soprano Elvira Maria Iannuzzi, commented, “A season that was born almost as a joke and grew in our hands. In 2011, when it began, few would have bet on a series of concerts entirely dedicated to chamber music. Our season is proof that the audience is still curious.”
The opening night will feature performers Rosaria Angotti, Paolo Cutuli, and Emanuele Bruno in a program titled “Mio Sud” (My South), exploring the history, literature, and songs of Southern Italy. The season will continue through May 2026, offering events that create a dialogue between young talents and great masters, tradition and innovation, and rare repertoire and classical masterpieces.
