Following a meeting of the ‘coalition of the willing’ in Paris, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that individual countries guarantee their presence or participation to ensure Ukraine’s security. “As we have repeatedly underscored, Poland does not plan to send its troops to Ukraine, not even after the war ends. We are responsible for the logistics,” Tusk told reporters.
The Prime Minister described his talks with U.S. President Donald Trump as “demanding,” but added that “both Europe and the United States want to maintain and strengthen Western unity against threats from the East,” a goal which “still requires intensive work.” Tusk also stated that “at the moment, there is no talk of a meeting between President Zelensky and President Putin.”
