Dina Minna, the historic personal assistant to iconic Italian presenter Pippo Baudo for 36 years, described the public’s reaction to his final journey as “incredible.” Minna, who managed not only Baudo’s schedule but his entire daily life, stated, “It was incredible, an incredible affection. On the highway, people would overtake us and blow us kisses, something we never expected.”
She highlighted the most poignant moment as the final ferry crossing to his native Sicily. Minna also noted meeting people who had traveled from Switzerland for the occasion, all of whom showed the presenter “great affection.”
