A screen-accurate replica of the iconic Batmobile from the 1966 Batman television series is now up for auction on Catawiki. This unique collector’s item, previously used as a stage prop during events featuring actor Adam West—the original TV Batman—boasts leather seats and a futuristic exterior mirroring the legendary small-screen vehicle. Built on a modified 1973 Lincoln Continental chassis, the car toured globally for years alongside West at fan events, evolving into a cultural icon among series enthusiasts. From its display at London’s Motor Museum to its current location near Florence, Italy, the vehicle has consistently drawn public fascination.
Estimated at €80,000, the fully functional replica recently underwent maintenance and retains its original 7.5L V8 engine with 3-speed automatic transmission. The undercarriage shows only minor surface oxidation, while the interior remains well-preserved. Authenticated by British registration documents, this faithful recreation of the 1966 Batmobile design is now available for bidding until August 24.
