New F-35 Global Training Hub to be Established in Sicily, Italy

A new global training center for F-35 fighter jets will be built at the Trapani-Birgi air base in Sicily. The facility will be a twin to the one already operational at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona, USA. This was confirmed to the ANSA news agency by Nino Minardo, the President of the Defense Commission of the Italian Chamber of Deputies.
