A 23-year-old man from the Milan area is under investigation after allegedly stealing photos of friends and acquaintances from their social media profiles and uploading them, without consent, to a pornographic website. The images were published alongside the victims’ full names.
The Carabinieri police in San Donato carried out a search of the man’s home in recent days. He is being investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office for unauthorized computer access, defamation, and violation of privacy. The photos, belonging to 25 different girls who were mostly his peers or younger, included pictures taken at the beach and in everyday situations. As first reported by La Stampa, among the stolen images was a photo of one victim from when she was 17 years old.
