A magnitude 3.1 earthquake was recorded at 11:56 p.m. last night in the southeastern sector of L’Aquila province. According to Italy’s National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV), the tremor originated at a depth of 18 kilometers, with its epicenter situated between the municipalities of Villalago and Bisegna. No damage to people or infrastructure has been reported following the seismic event.
