The Lombardy regional education office has guaranteed a “regular start” to the new academic year, assuring schools of “a teaching body that is as stable and functional as possible to meet the educational needs of students.”

“Lombardy’s schools can count on new resources and new energy, benefiting the quality of the educational offering and our students’ right to study, while ensuring an orderly start to the school year for them and their families,” commented the Director General of the Lombardy Regional Education Office, Luciana Volta. She expressed satisfaction with the smooth operations for the start of the 2025/26 academic year, which will continue with final assignments.
Finally, between September and December 2025, the remaining 1,692 permanent posts under the PNRR 2 recruitment plan will be filled, completing all hiring.
