The head of the Kyiv military administration, Tymur Tkachenko, announced that the death toll in the capital has risen to 12, including three children aged 2, 14, and 17. According to local authorities, a further 48 people were wounded. Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko stated it was a “terrible night for Kyiv,” with many buildings damaged in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Desnianskyi districts. In the Darnytskyi district, a five-story building was destroyed, and rescue workers are searching for people under the rubble. A shopping center in the city center was also struck.
