Italy, Poland, and Germany are among the 26 nations that will participate in providing security guarantees for Ukraine, French President Emmanuel Macron announced following a meeting of the ‘coalition of the willing’ in Paris. Macron stated that contributions from the allies will range from “the regeneration of the Ukrainian army to the deployment of ground, sea, and air troops, or by making bases available.”
“Everyone has their own modalities for contributing,” Macron added, “some by sending troops to the territory, others by making their NATO bases available. I do not wish to give details here, but all three countries are important contributors to these security guarantees.”
