Israel will partially reopen private commercial activity with Gaza to decrease the territory’s reliance on humanitarian aid, the Defense Ministry’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) announced today.
“A limited number of local traders have been approved by defense authorities to participate in this framework, following strict security checks and compliance with specific criteria,” stated COGAT.
