Legendary props from cinema history were showcased at a private exhibition at London’s Dorchester Hotel, previewing items for next month’s highly anticipated Propstore auction in Los Angeles. The collection features Darth Vader’s iconic lightsaber, wielded in the climactic duels of *The Empire Strikes Back* (1980) and *Return of the Jedi* (1983), projected to fetch up to $3 million.
Also on display were the whip, belt, and holster used by Harrison Ford in *Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade* (1989). Collectors can bid on the functional “neuralyzer” device employed by Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) to erase memories in *Men in Black* (1997), estimated at $150,000.
Over 1,000 lots will be auctioned in the US from September 4th to 6th, with total sales expected to reach $10 million. Notable costumes include Tobey Maguire’s 2002 Spider-Man suit and Michael Keaton’s 1989 Batman outfit. Harry Potter memorabilia is featured prominently, including the Platform 9¾ sign and Daniel Radcliffe’s wand from *Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*.
