A motorist struck two teenagers who were crossing the road outside of a designated crosswalk and fled the scene. The incident occurred yesterday morning in Castel Gandolfo, near Rome. The two victims, aged 23 and 17, were transported to the hospital and received medical prognoses of 40 and 10 days respectively. Carabinieri from the local station arrived on the scene, located the 20-year-old driver, and filed charges against him. His vehicle was impounded and his driver’s license was revoked.
