Four minors have been reported to authorities in Arezzo for an alleged group robbery after assaulting a foreign national in the city’s railway station underpass. Reportedly, the youths blocked the victim and demanded he hand over the silver necklace he was wearing. When he refused, one suspect restrained him in a chokehold while an accomplice forcibly ripped the necklace from his neck. The group then fled towards the city centre. The victim followed at a distance, tracked their movements, and alerted an on-duty Railway Police patrol nearby. Using his descriptions, officers located and stopped the four minors – all lacking identification documents – on nearby Via Guido Monaco, recovering the freshly stolen necklace. The suspects were taken to the Railway Police (Polfer) offices for identification and subsequent reporting to juvenile judicial authorities. The robbery occurred on the afternoon of July 14.
