Fideuram – Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking is intensifying its investment in personnel and expertise to navigate new industry challenges and lead its transformation.
The Intesa Sanpaolo Group’s private banking division, employing 6,940 advisory professionals, continues to invest in onboarding new talent, comprehensive training, and skill enhancement. In 2024 alone, Fideuram network private bankers undertook over 590,000 hours of training, reflecting a sustained commitment to elevating advisory quality.
Central to this strategy is the Fideuram Campus, the group’s training hub established in 2013 and now recognized as an industry benchmark. Key strategic initiatives include a wealth management advisor certification program, delivered in partnership with Milan’s Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. This program certified 115 private bankers in 2024, bringing the total accredited professionals since its inception to 1,400. Furthermore, the fourth edition of “Next Generation” recently convened, targeting private bankers under 40 from the Fideuram, Sanpaolo Invest, Iw Private Investments, Fideuram Direct, and Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking networks. “You are in the right place, at the right time,” emphasized Lino Mainolfi, CEO and General Manager of Fideuram, during the event.
“We want to continue growing as a community, thanks to people like you, who build our company’s future every day,” Mainolfi added.
Recruitment figures further underscore the growth trajectory: 215 new private bankers joined in the first five months of 2025, advancing towards the annual target of 500 new professionals.
