The autopsy on the body of Italian DJ Michele Noschese, known professionally as DJ Godzi, has been postponed. Giuseppe Noschese, the DJ’s father, confirmed the delay stems from the Rome Prosecutor’s Office ordering preliminary technical examinations prior to the autopsy.
In an official statement, Giuseppe Noschese explained: “By order of the competent Public Prosecutor at the Rome Prosecutor’s Office, and considering the case’s sensitivity and importance, it was decided to proceed with further preliminary technical checks before the autopsy. These checks will inevitably extend the timeframe, making it currently impossible to set a definite date for either the autopsy or, consequently, the funeral service.”
Noschese pledged to provide timely updates once official confirmation of the autopsy date and subsequent release of his son’s body is received, allowing for potential reorganization of planned funeral arrangements.
He concluded the statement by expressing “sincere gratitude to all individuals, institutions, and organizations involved, who with sensitivity and generous willingness had readied themselves to provide logistical and organizational support for his son’s funeral.” Michele Noschese died in Ibiza, Spain, under circumstances that remain unclear.
