The sister-in-law of Alessandro Impagnatiello, the former barman who murdered his seven-month pregnant girlfriend Giulia Tramontano in May 2023, has been ordered by the Milan Civil Court to pay approximately 25,000 euros in compensation to the victim’s family. The ruling comes after it was revealed that, just two months after the murder, Impagnatiello’s car was sold and registered in his sister-in-law’s name. This maneuver was an attempt to present the convicted murderer as penniless and thus avoid his obligation to pay compensation to Tramontano’s family. The news was first reported by Corriere della Sera online.
