Austrian Tourists Feared Missing at Sea Found Resting in Accommodation

A two-hour search along Lignano Sabbiadoro’s coastline for a missing Austrian couple concluded safely after the pair were located resting in their lodging. The young man and woman had entered the sea for a swim but reportedly failed to return to shore independently, prompting witness alerts. Coast Guard vessels, a helicopter, and additional personnel swiftly launched a search operation across the coastal area. Authorities later confirmed the tourists had reached land unaided and retreated to their accommodation without distress. Both individuals are in good health and experienced no medical issues during the incident.
