Asia-Pacific stock markets showed no clear direction Tuesday, with investors awaiting clearer signals on the U.S. Federal Reserve’s monetary policy. Trading in Tokyo concluded with the Nikkei 225 index down 0.1%. In contrast, Hong Kong’s market gained 0.7%. Mainland Chinese indices in Shanghai and Shenzhen also posted modest gains, confirming their multi-year highs. Losses were recorded in Seoul, down 0.3%, and in Sydney, which closed 0.08% lower. Meanwhile, futures pointed to an uncertain open for European markets.
