Three masters of Italian jazz piano—Rita Marcotulli, Enrico Pieranunzi, and Dado Moroni—will share the stage for a special concert on September 6th in Viterbo. The artists will perform together as a trio, as well as in various duo and solo configurations, offering the audience a comprehensive panorama of their musicianship and a masterful musical dialogue.
Rita Marcotulli is renowned for her poetic style and extraordinary sensitivity, effortlessly traversing diverse genres with a unique grace. She has collaborated with the biggest names in international jazz, and her original compositions are celebrated for their emotional depth.
Alongside her will be Enrico Pieranunzi, a veritable icon of European jazz. His distinguished career is studded with accolades, from numerous awards to collaborations with legends like Chet Baker and Jim Hall. His touch is unmistakable: melodic, refined, and always supported by formidable technique.
Completing the trio is the eclectic and virtuosic pianist Dado Moroni, esteemed for his mastery of traditional jazz language, yet always infused with a fresh and innovative personality. His driving swing and overwhelming energy have cemented his status as one of the most appreciated musicians on the international scene.
The event will be held at the Teatro dell’Unione and represents a new date for the jazz festival dedicated to raising funds for the fight against ALS (SLA).
