AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri, speaking on the eve of the match against Lecce, detailed the club’s internal discussions regarding the transfer market. He revealed he has held talks with executives Furlani, Tare, Ibrahimovic, and Moncada, emphasizing that the shared directive is to operate with sustainability.
“Tomorrow we have a very difficult match, and the club will handle the rest,” Allegri stated, shifting the immediate focus to the upcoming game. He further explained his relationship with the management, saying, “I have spoken with the club. The management is aware of the market opportunities. I am here to work and coach the players I have available.”
Allegri expressed confidence in his current squad, noting, “I am happy with the roster at my disposal because there are important players of value, and we must work. We need to have patience and trust.”
When asked about the potential need for a specific type of striker, the coach clarified that the principle applies universally. “It is the same for everyone because the club has every interest in building a competitive team,” Allegri concluded.
