Members of the Moccia family, identified by the Naples Prosecutor’s Office as leaders of the eponymous organized crime clan based in Afragola, Naples, will remain free. The decision comes after the Tenth Section of the Naples Review Court, presided over by Judge Gallo, rejected an appeal filed by investigators. The appeal challenged the earlier release of 15 defendants in an ongoing trial in Naples, who were freed when their pre-trial custody time limits expired.
